CenMASC (Central Miniature Australian Shepherd Club)
CenMASC, Central America Miniature Australian Shepherd
Club, was formed to promote the miniature sized Australian Shepherd.
Our club's focus is on spending precious time with our dogs, having fun,
and showing the world what amazing little dogs we have!!!
If you are in the Central Region and enjoy herding, rally obedience, conformation,
disc dog, or any dog sports, consider joining our club to share what you
know, and make your dog a SUPER DOG!!! Contact Connie Brogan at

We have several events planned for 2011, and will
host MASCA Nationals in 2012 at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO.

CenMASC
will be offering the Canine Good Citizenship test at the Coldwater
Connection on June 5.
The CGC Test is a certification program that rewards dogs who are
well-behaved companions at home and in the community. Dogs who
succesfully complete the 10 step test will receive a certificate from
the American Kennel Club and a blue and yellow bandana. Patches, pins,
and collar tags may also be purchased from AKC. Pictures will be taken
of your dog the day of the show.
The 10 Step Test includes:
1. Accept a Friendly Stranger
2. Sit Politely for Petting
3. Appearance and Grooming
4. Walking on a Loose Leash
5. Walk Through a Crowd
6. Sit and Down on Command/ Stay in Place
7. Come When Called
8. Reaction to Another Dog
9. Reaction to Distractions
10. Supervised Separation (3 minutes)
